【摘要】:IronmayincreasethecolorofbisphenolAandaffectotherpropertiesofend-useproducts.HighpuritybisphenolAtypicallyhaslessthan1mg/kgofiron.1.1ThistestmethodcoverstheproceduretodeterminetheironcontentofbisphenolA(4,4x2032;-isopropylidenediphenol).1.2Thistestmethodhasalowerdetectionlimitof0.1mg/kg,andanupperlimitof10mg/kgofironinbisphenolA.Iftheironcontentishigher,itmaybenecessarytodilutethesample.AlongerpathlengthcellcanalsobeusedforbetteraccuracyatlowerFelevels,aswellascalibrationwithintherangeexpected(forexample,0to1mg/kgversus0to10mg/kgforsamplesexpectedtobeinthe0to1mg/kgrange.1.3Indeterminingtheconformanceofthetestresultsusingthismethodtoapplicablespecifications,resultsshallberoundedoffinaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitspriortouse.Foraspecifichazardstatement,seeSection8.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesagravimetricmeasurementoftheparticulatematterpresentinasampleofaviationturbinefuelbylinesampling.Theobjectiveistominimizethesecontaminantstoavoidfilterpluggingandotheroperationalproblems.Althoughtolerablelevelsofparticulatecontaminantshavenotyetbeenestablishedforallpointsinfueldistributionsystems,thetotalcontaminantmeasurementisnormallyofmostinterest.TheAppendixX1colorratingmethodisusefulforfuelsystemmonitoringpurposes.Noquantitativerelationshipexistsbetweengravimetricandcolorratingtestresults.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofparticulatecontaminantinaviationturbinefuelusingafieldmonitor.1.2Therearetwotestmethodsdescribed.Thebasictestmethodisusedtoevaluatethelevelofcontaminationgravimetrically.Thesecondtestmethod,presentedin,describesacolorratingtechniquethatisusedforrapidqualitativeassessmentofchangesincontaminationlevelwithoutthetimedelayrequiredforthegravimetricdeterminationsbystringentlaboratoryprocedures.1.3TherearetwoAnnexesandtwoAppendixesinthistestmethod.1.3.1AnnexA1providessomeprecautionaryinformationregardingtheuseoftherequiredreagents.1.3.2AnnexA2describesastandardpracticeforobtainingasampleoftheparticulatespresentinaflowingstreamofaviationturbinefuel.1.3.3AppendixX1describesatestmethodforratingtheparticulatelevelinanaviationturbinefuelonthebasisofthecolorofafiltermembraneaftersamplingthefuelinthefield.1.3.4AppendixX2providessomesafetyprecautionstoavoidstaticdischargeresultingfromtheaccumulationofelectricalchargesinthefuelandontheequipmentwhilefollowingtheprocedures.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
