【摘要】:Thethermalstressesexperiencedbyaviationfuelinmodernjetenginesmayleadtotheformationofundesirableandpossiblyharmfulinsolublematerials,suchaslacquers,onheatexchangersandcontrolsurfaces,thatreduceefficiencyandrequireextramaintenance.Aircraftfuelsystemsoperatemainlyunderturbulentflowconditions.Mostlarge-scalerealistictestrigsoperateintheturbulentflowregimebutfuelvolumesareverylargeandtesttimesareverylong.Thistestmethodtestsfuelunderturbulentflow(highReynoldsnumber)conditions,anditgivesaquantitativeresultunderstandardoperatingconditionsof65or125min.Continuousanalysisofresultsduringthetestallowsperformanceofthefueltobemonitoredinrealtimethusenablingthetesttimetobereducedmanuallyorautomatically,ifrequired.Theresultsofthistestmethodarenotexpectedtocorrelatewithexistingtestmethodsforallfuels,sincethetestmethodsandoperatingconditionsaredifferent(seeAppendixX2).1.1Thistestmethodcoversalaboratorythermalprocess,usingaspecifiedapparatusformeasuringthetendenciesofaviationturbinefuelstodepositinsolublematerialsanddecompositionproducts,suchaslacquers,withinafuelsystem.Thistestmethodprovidesaquantitativeresultforfuelunderturbulentflowconditionsin65or125min.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
