【摘要】:ThisclauseofPart1isreplacedbythefollowing.ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththesafetyofelectricdryironsandsteamirons,includingthosewithaseparatewaterreservoirorboilerhavingacapacitynotexceeding5l,forhouseholdandsimilarpurposes,theirratedvoltagebeingnotmorethan250V.Appliancesnotintendedfornormalhouseholduse,butwhichneverthelessmaybeasourceofdangertothepublic,suchasappliancesintendedtobeusedbylaymeninshops,inlightindustryandonfarms,arewithinthescopeofthisstandard.Asfarasispracticable,thisstandarddealswiththecommonhazardspresentedbyapplianceswhichareencounteredbyallpersonsinandaroundthehome.However,ingeneral,itdoesnottakeintoaccount.
