【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthequantityofwaterabsorbedinaspecifiedtimebynonbibulouspaperandpaperboardwithaminimumthicknessof0.1mm.Thistestmethodisgenerallyapplicabletosizedpaperandpaperboard,butisnotrecommendedasasizingtestforwritingpapers.ThetestmethodisbaseduponstudiesbyCobbandLoew,Cobb,andotherinvestigators(1,2,3,4).Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
