【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverscommercialproducts,enginecoolantgradeethyleneglycolandpropyleneglycol,includingvirginglycolsandthosederivedfromtherecyclingofvehicleenginecoolantsandindustrialsourceglycols.1.2TypesEG-1andPG-1coverglycolswithsufficientlylowlimitsoncomponentstoallowablendedcoolanttomeetmostOEM(OriginalEquipmentManufacturer)specifications.Thesetypeswillprobablybevirginmaterials,althoughredistillationcouldproduceasufficientlypureproduct.TypesEG-2andPG-2coverglycolthatwillbesuitableformanycoolants.Thesetypescanbeeitherredistilledorvirgin.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.
