【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversageneralclassificationsystemforcrosslinkableethyleneplasticscompounds(Note1).Therequirementsspecifiedhereinarenotnecessarilyapplicableforuseascriteriaindeterminingsuitabilityfortheenduseofafabricatedproduct.Note1--Itistobenotedthatthisspecificationdescribesmaterialsthatareavailablecommerciallyintheiruncrosslinkedform.Therefore,theyarecrosslinkablecompoundsdespitethefactthatmeasurementoftheparametersusedfortheirclassificationandspecificationwillusuallybecarriedoutaftercuringhasbeeneffected.Twotypesofcompoundsarecovered,namely,mechanicaltypesinwhichmechanicalstrengthpropertiesareofprimeimportanceinapplications,andelectricaltypesinwhichelectricalinsulatingorconductingpropertiesalsoareofprimeimportanceinapplications.Theparametersusedtoclassifyandspecifythemechanicaltypesareultimateelongation,elongationretentionafteraging,apparentmodulusofrigidity,andbrittlenesstemperature.Theparametersusedtoclassifyandspecifytheelectricaltypesareultimateelongation,elongationretentionafteraging,apparentmodulusofrigidity,brittlenesstemperature,dielectricconstant,dissipationfactor,andvolumeresistivity.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section7,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note2--ThereisnosimiliarorequivalentISOstandard.
