【摘要】:Sheartestsofvariouskindsarewidelyusedinthereinforcedplasticsindustrytoassessthestrengthofthereinforcement-to-resinbondinpolyester-,vinylester-,andepoxy-resincomposites.Inadditiontotheirimportanceforthegenerationofdataforresearchanddevelopment,qualitycontrol,andspecificationpurposes,suchtestsareoffundamentalvaluetothefibrousreinforcementindustry,sincetheycanbeusedtodeterminethepotentialofnewsizingsystemsforthesurfacetreatmentofglassfibers.Thein-planeshearstrengthofpultrudedcylindricalcompositesisanimportantpropertyfromanengineeringstandpoint,sincepultrudedrod,assuch,isusedinmanystructuralapplications.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthein-planeshearstrengthofpultruded,glass-fiberreinforced,thermosettingplasticrodofdiametersrangingfrom19to32mm(3/4to1x00BC;in.).1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninNote2andNote3.Note18212;ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
